OPEN HOUSE is this Sunday from 6 to 8!!  Be sure to come by and see all of the new stuff PLUS make a FREE card and enter your name in my door prizes!!!  Hope you can make it!!

Have a great night and if there is something I can help you with just give me a ring!!

Birthday Card!!!

Here is a birthday card from Ann!

DSC02987 Isn't it just beautiful??!!!  I really appreciate it!  It is Spring Break this week and I have had no time to myself!!!  UGH!!  I think I'll sneak downstairs later and do some stamping!!  I have some really great ideas in my head for Easter and I need to get started on them!!!

Ann used the new Stampin'Up! Simple Flower Embosslits Die!  LOVE IT!!  It cuts and embosses the flower all at once!!  See all of our big shot dies at www.stampchic.stampinup.netunder Shop Now!  If you order online you get a FREE idea book and catalog PLUS it is Sale-a-Bration so if you spend $50 you get another FREE item from that catalog!!!

Ann will have to stop in and give us all of the details to this card!  It is simply elegant in person so use her layout and make one for yourself!  The front of the card is about 1/4 inch shorter than the back, so you see the sentiment when it is closed!  Such a great layout!!

Scrap Class is Wednesday so be sure to sign up for class at 7 pm Wednesday!!  Class cost is $20 for two 12 x 12 layouts OR place a $40 order and the class is FREE!!  Call me to reserve a spot!!  I'll post one of the layouts tomorrow!!

Birthday Cards!!

Here are a couple of the birthday cards I received yesterday!!

DSC02984 This one is from my good friend, Roxanne!  It uses the Top Note die for the Big Shot and one of my favorite sets, Simply Said!!  I think the greeting is from a retired hostess set, Warmest Regards but am not positive!  I'll have to ask!  Or, Rox - if you are out there feel free to leave a comment and let us know!!

DSC02982 The second card is a BRAK (Birthday Random Act of Kindness) from Barb Nesta and she found my birthday on Splitcoast!!  Love that she took the time to send me a card and she doesn't even know me!!  Thanks Barb!!!  It's super cute!!

There is still time to sign up for BLOG CANDY!!!  Just go to the post below and make a comment by noon CST!  I'll do a drawing this afternoon and post the winner tomorrow!!

Thanks for all of the nice emails and well wishes on my birthday!!  It really made turning 41 (ugh - now I'm actually IN my forties) better!!  Have a great day!!

Stamp a Stack #3 and Menu Planning Monday!!

Here is card #3:

DSC02877 A little card, a little food - what more could someone ask for!! This is card #3 from Stamp a Stack!  Tomorrow I will show you all four together because I cased the fourth card!!  Love to CASE and I encourage everyone to do the same!  Why else would we all show our work if we didn't want it appreciated!  Copying is the highest compliment!!  Anyway, this card is my "man card" from class!  Sometimes I struggle with manly cards but with a little help from my sister we got this one laid out quickly!  Thanks Lisa!!  Anyway, the "recipe" for the card is at the end of the post!

Here is the weekly meal plan I've been talking about!  We had my mom over for dinner tonight so if you want an honest opinion on the Apricot Chicken Stir Fry ask her!!  We also sent some home for dad!  Todd, the girls and I loved it!  Of course, there is always one picky child in every family and our son is that child!  I try to understand because I used to be that child, but of course, it is every parents job to try to get kids to try new things!!  Maybe it is a middle child thing!  Or it could be a control freak thing - I'm both so guilty as charged!  Download MENU PLANNING WEEK ONE If you need some Tastefully Simple Products to complete these menu ideas just let me know!  There are 13 products total if you include dessert one night!  Everyone deserves a little Classy Chocolate Pound Cake once in a while!!

All Supplies Stampin'Up!:  Congrats stamp set (FREE during SAB), Close to Cocoa Classic Ink Pad, Sahara Sand card stock, Delicate Dots Designer Series Paper (FREE during SAB), Close to Cocoa card stock, Whisper White card stock, Double Hole Punch (retired), Sponges, Cutter Kit, Silver Brads.

If you need details for SAB please let me know! Don't forget to sign up for class, the Starter kit special and if you place an online order you will get that cute Under the Stars card!!  Hope to see you stamping soon!!  Lastly, blog candy is coming soon!!  Check back and forward the blog to your friends!
